is provided by law. No. 523/1992 Coll. on Tax Advising and the Chamber of Tax Advisers of the Czech Republic. Tax advice is the provision of legal assistance and economic advice in financial matters, taxes, levies, fees and other payments (hereinafter referred to as “taxes”), as well as in matters directly related to taxes (hereinafter referred to as “tax advice”) provided by a tax advisor registered in the list of tax advisors.
The profession of tax consulting is regulated by Act No. 523/1992 Coll., on tax consulting and Chamber of Tax Advisers of the Czech Republic. The scope of activities of tax advisors is formulated as “ provision of legal assistance and economic advice in financial matters , levies, fees and other similar payments (hereinafter referred to as taxes), as well as in matters directly related to taxes (hereinafter referred to as tax advice) “.
The scope of tax advisors is therefore quite extensive and goes beyond simply filing a tax return. Tax advisors work mainly in the field of taxes and accounting, as experts providing a comprehensive service, including client representation, consulting, economic and tax planning, accounting processing, control activities, etc. Many of these activities on the market are also offered by other entities. However, for tax advisors, this service is offered mainly within the scope of Act 523/1992 Coll., And this results in the specification of certain elements of the advisor-client relationship. The law imposes certain rights and obligations, and thus gives clients guarantees that they would not have for a service provided, for example, on the basis of the Trade Licensing Act. The law clearly stipulates, for example, a tax advisor’s duty of confidentiality about all facts he has learned about in connection with tax advice.
The tax advisor is also liable for any damage incurred by the client in connection with the tax advisor.
